To qualify for Home Care to be paid by
Medicare, you need to be confined to home due to illness or injury.
You need not to be bedridden, but leaving your residence must require
considerable effort or supportive devices such as a walker, cane,
wheel chair and the assistance of another person. If you drive a car,
Medicare does not consider you to meet homebound requirements. You must
also be under a physician's care and require intermittent nursing care.

 |
Homebound requirements only apply to Medicare reimbursement.
