Kimball Elementary is participating in MISD high schools' "Operation Friendly Wave," to provide needed goods for those affected by the recent tsunami in Asia. Please send any of the following items to school: individual bottled water, ready-to-eat foods and snacks, pop-top canned goods, and/or new blankets. Items may be left under the world map in the front hall of the building. All items will be boxed and shipped to "Feed the Children." The last day to send items is Friday, February 25. Help us make a difference!

The spring book far will be held next week, from Monday, February 7 until Thursday, February 10in the Kimball Library.

February is "Heart Health" month, as noted by the American Heart Association. Check out the Catch Corner on the Essential Information page for ideas on how to keep your heart healthy.

The fourth six weeks grading period ends February 18.This grading period actually has seven weeks, so report cards will not go home until February 24. Students will be allowed to wear caps on that day as well.
